Consultation on the Submitted Plan
The Bradford Abbas & Clifton Maybank Neighbourhood Plan has been submitted for examination.
As the local planning authority, the council is required to consult on the plan proposals before the examination takes place. The consultation process ran from Monday 20 July until Monday 31 August 2026 (midnight). This was an opportunity for individuals and organisations to raise concerns they may have about the plan with regard to the content and how it had been prepared. An independent examiner was appointed and any concerns were passed on to them for consideration as part of the examination process.
As part of the neighbourhood plan process, the council has made available on its website the Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) and the related Natural England correspondence dated 29 July 2026.
