Dorset Local Access Forum (DLAF) meetings are held 3 times per year in April, July and November. Meetings are attended by DLAF members, councillor representatives from Dorset Council and Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council, and local authority officers from Dorset Council and BCP Council. DLAF members also participate in working groups that meet more regularly.

Who can attend

Meetings are open to members of the public, who are very welcome to attend as observers.

Make a statement or representation at the meeting

Contact us 2 weeks before the meeting to request to make a statement and/or representation at the meeting or to submit a question.

You should provide your:

  • name
  • contact details
  • group/organisation being represented

This will be considered by the chairperson.

Questions will either be addressed at the meeting or a written response will be provided after the meeting.

For invited statements and/or representations:

  • a time allocation of 2 minutes (or a maximum of 5 minutes at the discretion of the chairperson) will apply
  • only one statement/representation is allowed from a person/organisation per meeting
  • the views of the DLAF will be conveyed to those concerned in writing after the meeting
