Activities for children in care and care leavers
If you're a looked after child or a care leaver, you can get involved in our 3 forums, which represent different age groups:
- Dorset Children in Care Council
- Care Leavers' Forum
- Junior in Care Council
Dorset Children in Care Council (CLiCC)
If you are a child in care, join our Children in Care Council and you will:
- make new friends
- help make services better for other young people in care
- take part in fun activities
There are forums for:
- juniors aged 5 to 9 years
- children aged 10 to 15 years

Care Leavers' Forum
If you have left care, or are about to leave care and you're aged between 16 and 25 we want to hear from you!
This is a group of young people that meets monthly to design and deliver campaigns to make Dorset social services better.
You'll get accredited training, help with your CV and make new friends and have a lot of fun!
