Tai Chi for beginners - 4 week course
Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. It is ideal for people wanting to raise their activity levels gently and gradually.
This 4-week block is suitable for everyone. It helps you learn basic skills to support long-term health and wellbeing, while having fun outdoors in nature.
Course details:
- cost: £20 per person for a 4-week course. Car parking charges are included
- dates and time: Sunday 7 June to Sunday 28 June from 8:30am to 9:30am each week

Learn golf in a day at Moors Valley Golf Course
Want to start golf but struggling for time? We’ll take you from never having held a golf club to playing on our short course in 6 hours.
Course details:
- you will learn the basics of swing technique, chipping and putting, and finish by playing over our short course
- all equipment is provided for the day, and car parking is included
- date and time: Saturday 6 June from 10am to 4pm
- costs: £54 per person

Complete your Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ)
You will need to complete an annual PARQ before attending if you:
- are new to Tai Chi classes and Get into Golf lessons
- are returning after a break
- have had a change in your health condition

Free volunteer-led rides to help improve your health and wellbeing.
These are held at:
- Moors Valley Country Park every Wednesday from 10am to 11am
- Ferndown Forest Golf Course every Tuesday from 10am to 11am
- Kingston Lacy House every Thursday from 10am to 11am
- The Palm Tree Cafe, Weymouth, every Wednesday from 10am to 11am
- The Big Yellow Bus Garden Project, Shillingstone, every Friday from 10am to 11am
