Here is a quick look at what activities are on this month for you to enjoy and to help you get active.
Health cycle rides
Free volunteer led rides to help improve your health and wellbeing. These are held at:
- Moors Valley Country Park every Wednesday 10am to 11am
- Ferndown Forest Golf Course every Tuesday 10am to 11am
- Kingston Lacy House every Thursday 10am to 11am
- The Palm Tree Cafe, Weymouth, every other Wednesday 10am to 11am
Dorset Health Walks
Free led walks throughout Dorset to help improve your health and wellbeing.
Nordic Walking workouts and Wellness walks
Suitable for people who have completed a "Get into Nordic walking course" to help maintain fitness and to enjoy being out in the fresh air.
Get into Nordic Walking courses
With the support from a qualified Nordic Walking Instructor these courses will help you master the basics and improve your Nordic Walking technique. £15 per person, poles are provided. To book call 01425 480811.

Fresh air fitness
Using natural outdoor spaces and features, Fresh air fitness is a fun session to help increase your heart rate and build strength. Each weekly session may use different areas and activities, so no week will be the same. Suitable for adults and perfect for beginners. £5 per person 10am to 11am.
Every Tuesday (excludes school holidays) at Moors Valley Country Park, Golf and Activity Centre.

Couch to 5K at Potterne Park, Verwood
With the support of a volunteer run leader, this Couch to 5K programme will help you to develop your running fitness over 9 weeks following the Couch to 5K NHS app. A course is £10 per person and starts at Potterne Park in Verwood. Booking is essential by calling 01425 480811.

Free family Orienteering “have a go” event
Come along to experience what orienteering is with your family and friends. A chance to learn some navigation skills and put them into practice, either walking, jogging or running the route. No need to book just turn up.
Saturday 3 May, 11am until 2pm at The Great Field, Poundbury.
