Key information
Key information to make your walk more enjoyable:
- to take part, come along to the meeting point ten minutes before the start time so that one of our trained walk leaders can register you. Then you are free to take part in as many walks as you like, as often as you like
- walks take place whatever the weather
- dogs are generally welcome but must be kept on a lead unless the walk leader advises otherwise
Complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ)
If you are new to the health walk scheme, we ask that you complete an annual PARQ before attending your first walk. This should be updated once a year or if your health condition changes. If you are unable to complete the PARQ online, contact the Health and Activity team for assistance.
