A booking process is in place at four of our Household Recycling Centres. These are:
- Dorchester
- Shaftesbury
- Sherborne
- Wimborne
Visitors accessing these sites by foot or bike are also required to book.
If you are taking DIY waste to any of our recycling centres you will need to make a booking. There is a maximum of 4 bookings per household in any four-week period. See more information about DIY waste bookings.

Visitors that are unable to book a slot online
If you cannot book online could a friend or family member help you? If not, please telephone 01305 221037 to book your slot over the phone.
Important information for non Dorset Council residents
Anyone can use our household recycling centres for household waste. However, if you live outside of the Dorset Council area you will be required to pay a non refundable fee of £8.50. Payment is made online when booking your slot.
