Every Friday, the Weymouth Digital Skills Hub transforms into a vibrant, welcoming space where anyone can build digital confidence, get expert advice, and connect with local services - all in one place.

Here’s what you can expect

Career and Employer Support – Weymouth Job Centre Plus

Each week, a Work Coach and an Employer Advisor will be available to support both job seekers and employers. Whether you're exploring career options, preparing applications, or recruiting staff, they offer tailored guidance to help you move forward with confidence.

Life Admin Help – Citizens Advice

Get practical, confidential advice on housing, benefits, debt, and more. Citizens Advice advisors are here to help you navigate life’s challenges and access the support you’re entitled to.

Community Connections – Dorset Volunteer Centre

Looking to volunteer or grow your community group? The Volunteer Centre offers support to individuals seeking opportunities and to small volunteer organisations and community groups looking to get started or expand their reach.

Co-learning Space – Learn Together, Grow Together

This is a relaxed, group drop-in session where people can come to practice their digital skills, ask for help, or simply build confidence using technology. There’s no formal teaching—just a friendly, experienced Digital Champion available to support anyone who needs a hand. Whether you're trying to navigate an online course, follow up on something discussed with Citizens Advice, or just want to get more comfortable using a computer, this space is here for you.

Wellbeing Guidance – Steps to Wellbeing

If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to turn, Steps to Wellbeing can help you take the first step. While they don’t offer direct counselling on the day, their advisors are available to listen, provide reassurance, and signpost you to further mental health and wellbeing support that’s right for you.

Friendly atmosphere – no booking needed

Drop in anytime between 10am and 2pm. Enjoy a cuppa, meet others, and learn at your own pace. All support is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so during busy times, you may experience a short wait - but we’ll do our best to make sure everyone gets the help they need.
