There is a railway station on the Weymouth to London Waterloo line at Wareham. Most trains can accommodate a number of bikes on each journey and the Northport Greenway cycle route links Wareham Railway Station to Wareham Quay. If you would like to hire a bike and catch a bus to collect it, Purbeck Park is on bus routes 30 and 40. Please note: the 40 bus stops outside the Car Park at the Castle View Visitor Centre - follow the wooden signposts to the Norden. Swanage Railway operates a vintage train service to Norden Car Park from Swanage, Herston, Harman's Cross and Corfe Castle. The Railway has a guards carriage for bicycles. |
