Castle Cycle Ride

Cycle through leafy lanes to the village of Church Knowle and the tranquil Blue Pool, then continue across Hartland Moor enjoying the fantastic views of Corfe Castle.

Cycle parking: Cycle parking is found at Norden Car Park (for 30 bikes), Corfe Castle Railway Station (for 10 bikes) and on Wareham Quay (for 4 bikes).
Relevant Ordnance Survey map: Explorer Map No.OL15 (Purbeck and South Dorset). You can buy a copy from Discover Purbeck Information Centre in Wareham.
Public transport: • there is a railway station on the Weymouth to London Waterloo line at Wareham. Most trains can accommodate a number of bikes on each journey and the  Northport Greenway cycle route links Wareham Railway Station to Wareham Quay.
• if you would like to  hire a bike and catch a bus to collect it, Norden Car Park is on bus routes 30 and 40. Please note: the 40 bus stops outside the Car Park at the Castle View Visitor Centre - follow the wooden signposts to the Norden.
•  Swanage Railway operates a vintage train service to Norden Car Park from Swanage, Herston, Harman's Cross and Corfe Castle. The Railway has a guards carriage for bicycles.
Car parking: All day parking is available at  Norden Car Park. If you would like to start the ride in Wareham, long stay parking is available at  Streche Road and Connegar Lane.
Facilities and Refreshments: There are refreshments available at Norden Car Park, Church Knowle, Stoborough and Wareham. There are public toilets at Norden Car Park and Wareham Quay.
