Changes to our cafe

You can buy hot drinks and limited food to take away from the cafe kiosk.
Opening times: weekdays 10am to 2pm / weekends 10am to 4pm (both subject to weather conditions).

Our Visitor Centre

Our Visitor Centre is currently closed. There is a Ranger window open from 10am to 4pm for information and fun trails.

Park opening times

The park gates open 8am to 6.30pm or dusk, whichever is sooner.

The Heathland Discovery Centre

Opens: 10am to 4pm

The park is open year round, but the Discovery Centre is closed on:

Christmas Day
Boxing Day
New Years Day

Parking and charges

The park gates open 8am to 6.30pm or dusk, whichever is sooner.

There are four parking spaces for disabled users. Height of vehicles are restricted to 2 metres by a height barrier.

Costs:

free for first 15 minutes
£1.50 per hour after that
