Empty properties and second homes

The council made the following decision in its meeting of 13 February 2024.

Effective from 1st April 2024 - Empty Homes Premium – a 100% premium will apply where the property has been empty and substantially unfurnished for more than ONE year.

Effective from 1st April 2025 – Dwellings Periodically Occupied ( second homes ) – a 100% premium will apply.
