Below is a selection of the grant schemes currently available in the UK that the Healthy Homes Dorset team may be able to help you access:

Energy Company Obligation (ECO)

If anyone in your home receives benefits you may be eligible for support through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. This scheme supports energy efficiency improvements (including insulation and some heating improvements) in low income and vulnerable households. Contact your energy supplier to see if you could benefit from this.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a government scheme to support low carbon technologies in homes and small non-domestic properties. Check to see if you could be eligible for a grant to help you replace existing fossil fuel heating with more efficient, low carbon heating systems.

Green Homes Grant

The Green Homes Grant is a £2 billion scheme, launched by the government, to help homeowners pay for energy saving improvements for their homes by installing measures such as wall insulation, solar panels and air source heat pumps.

Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) Scheme

If you have installed solar panels or other renewable electricity generation in your home, you may be able to get money through the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) scheme

Home Improvement Loans

This is a council-backed loan scheme for energy efficiency improvements in the home, ranging from basic measures such as draught proofing, through to renewable energy. This loan is also available to park home residents.
