Coronavirus (COVID-19): updates and advice.
Nestled in the rolling hills near Beaminster stands Mapperton House and Gardens, one of Dorset’s most exclusive country wedding venues. Undiscovered and wildly romantic, Mapperton was voted the UK’s finest manor house by Country Life magazine. Mapperton is an unsurpassable location for your country wedding, with a variety of venues and spaces to suit your day.
Couples have use of a luxury three bedroom Garden Cottage, with two nights' accommodation included as standard. There are breathtaking gardens, set on three levels, from the croquet lawn to the fountain courtyard and the arboretum beyond. The Garden Pavilion is available for your ceremony, with the impressive backdrop of Mapperton House, or the secret Grotto provides an alternative ceremony space. Otherwise, if the weather permits, you can head outside to the Orangery for your ceremony or your drinks reception, overlooking the pools, statuary and magnificent topiary. The medieval All Saints Church can be used for blessings with up to 90 guests. The beautiful converted 17th Century Coach House is ideal for your wedding breakfast and evening party, with its exposed beams, original stonework and full height ceilings.
