We received many applications for the Organisational Revenue Support fund, which closed on 29 November 2020.

Dorset Council has maintained the level of funding available for cultural organisations across Dorset (just under £279,000) and application to the fund requests totalled £758,000. A grant budget of £100,000 has also been made available for social, voluntary and community sector organisations and a substantial number submitted applications totalling £482,000.

We are pleased to announce the following organisations have been awarded an annual revenue award from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024, with agreed terms and conditions that must be met annually.

Social, voluntary and cultural sector community awards

Following extensive community consultation and consideration by cabinet members, Dorset Council agreed to maintain the level of funding available for community and cultural organisations for 2021 – 2022. Funding application procedures have been set up to allocate the funds available in the form of open grant application and tendering processes. The first of these funding rounds (Organisational Revenue Support Fund) was processed in December 2020 to allow organisations to budget for future council support from 2021 onwards.
