Working for Dorset Council has provided me with the opportunity to further my career and fulfil my dream of becoming a Conservation Officer.
The support I receive from my team and managers allows me to progress and develop my skills in conservation in order to preserve and/or enhance our historic environment for future generations. The role is varied and sometimes surprising. With the added benefit of working in one of the most breathtaking counties in England, site visits often give “pinch myself” moments.
I feel very lucky to have this role in such a forward thinking council.
