If you find riding a traditional bike challenging, the Accessible Cycling programme can open up the joy of cycling to you.
Moors Valley Country Park, Golf and Activity Centre and Redlands Leisure and Community Park are both part of the Wheels for All national scheme.
Accessible cycling at Moors Valley Country Park
We have a fleet of adaptive bikes to suit a range of needs, from a lack of cycling confidence to physical or mental impairment. These include side-by-sides, recumbent trikes, a wheelchair bike, tag-a-longs, tandems, tricycles and handcycles.
Getting started
All new participants must have a 1-2-1 consultation to get started. This can be carried out with individuals or as a group.
Offering a range of adaptive bikes within a traffic free environment based at Redlands Leisure and Community Park, Dorchester Road, Weymouth, DT3 5AW (When you arrive, if you walk through the café and head out onto the field using the back doors and you will see the bikes on the left)
For the School Summer Holidays we have one session on 12 August.
12pm to 1pm

We will be restarting on Wednesday 9 September and will continue every Wednesday thereafter
Donations towards the up keep of the bikes are welcome. There is a maximum of 12 riders per session. Helmets are available.
