Scrutiny committees play a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across Dorset Council. They monitor performance on a quarterly basis and, with supporting evidence, provide constructive and collaborative challenge to help drive improvement in the services we provide.
Performance monitoring is established through our performance framework. The latest performance data is published each quarter on the relevant Scrutiny Committee’s performance dashboard.
Both committees also receive a quarterly report to supplement the data available on the dashboards.
