Pay Policy Statements

Dorset Council was formed on 1 April 2019. The first Pay Policy Statement for Dorset Council was published for the financial year 2020 to 2021 and will be updated and re-published on an annual basis thereafter. This Pay Policy Statement is required under Part 1, Chapter 8 ‘Pay Accountability’ of the Localism Act 2011 and has been approved by resolution of the full council on 10 February 2026.
