Setting the scene for change
In 2019 the UK became the first major economy in the world to pass laws to end its contribution to global warming. An ambitious target of reaching ‘net zero’ by 2050 was set.
Since then, our Low Carbon Dorset programme has been working behind the scenes to help our county’s businesses, communities, and public sector prepare.
Through photography, the “Our Journey to Net Zero” exhibition tells the story of some of the organisations we’ve helped take steps to prepare for a greener and more sustainable future.
