Notification of 1 or 2 gaming machines
Where a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (for alcohol) has been issued to a premises that is 'wholly or mainly for the sales or consumption of alcohol' a premises licence holder can be authorised to have 1 or 2 machines of category C or D by giving us a notification of your intent to have these machines.
If you want more than 2 category C or D machines you could apply for a Licensed Premises Gaming Machine Permit.
A notification of 1 or 2 gaming machines costs £50.
3 or more gaming machines
If you want to provide three or more category C and category D gaming machines in your licensed premises, you need to apply for a licensed premises gaming machine permit.
If we grant you a permit for three or more machines, this will effectively replace your automatic entitlement to two machines.
An application for 3 or more gaming machines costs £150.
