Referendum on the adoption of the Knightsford Neighbourhood Plan
- A referendum will be held on Thursday 24 July 2025 to decide on the question below:
'Do you want Dorset Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Knightsford to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?'
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 8 July 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ by 5pm on Wednesday 9 July 2025.
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ by 5pm on Wednesday 16 July 2025.
- Applications for Voter Authority Certificates must be made by 5pm on Wednesday 16 July 2025.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ by 5pm on Thursday 24 July 2025. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 16 July 2025. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday 16 July 2025.
