Licences to "manage" apparatus in the Highway are issued under Section 50 of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA).

What will your information be used for and what is the lawful basis for requesting and using it?
We are collecting your data for the purpose of assessing an application for a Section 50 Street Works licence.
Our legal basis for collecting your personal data is Article 6 (1) (e) in the exercise of the authority vested in the controller under Section 50 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
With which other organisations may we share your data?
We will not share your information with any other third party, unless we are under a legal obligation to do so. Information about works for the installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement and removal of the apparatus will be available on Street Manager and one.network but your personal information will not be shared.
Will your data be stored in, processed or accessible from countries outside the UK, EU or EEA countries?
This information will be recorded on the DfT's Street Manager service, and the information will be accessible to authorised users of the system.
How long will we keep your information?
We will cease using your data as soon as you no longer require our services. For legal reasons, Dorset Council will retain your data for a maximum of 21 years and nine months, at which point it will be archived.
