It is sometimes not easy to take a break, however, it is important to look after yourself when you are caring for others. There are many ways to help you take a break from your caring role, such as doing something you enjoy such as a hobby, spending time with people important to you, or having a break away.
Carer Support Dorset can talk through with you what a break means to you and advise on how you may achieve this. There are opportunities for an overnight stay in a caravan or other local accommodation. Contact them on 0800 368 8349 to find out more or have a look at Carer Support Dorset’s website .
