From the Stacks

Dorset History Centre's annual collections fortnight sees staff and volunteers work on a range of collections and projects which we are unable to do when we are open to the public. This is typically a very busy time for us, with boxes of records opened and listed, referencing created or improved, auditing work done, and many other things besides.

This year, as part of a very special "From the Stacks" event, we invite you to come into DHC to see what we are doing behind-the-scenes whilst we are closed. There will be a short guided tour through the building and a member of staff will talk about the various projects we are undertaking. We will also take you into our repositories so you can learn more about the work we do and what we hold.
