Fresh air fitness for beginners

Using natural outdoor spaces and features, fresh air fitness is a fun session to help increase your heart rate and build strength. Each weekly session may use different areas and activities, so no week will be the same.

Sessions are:

  • suitable for adults and perfect for beginners every Tuesday morning 
  • 10am to 11am
  • £5 per person or you can buy 11 sessions for £50
  • at Moors Valley Country Park, Golf and Activity Centre, BH24 2ET

Sessions do not take place during Dorset school holidays.

Free Tai Chi - Taster session

Tai Chi for beginners - 4 week course

Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. It is ideal for people wanting to raise their activity levels gently and gradually.

This 4-week block is suitable for everyone, learning foundational skills for longevity and wellbeing while having fun outdoors in nature.
A course of 4 weeks is £20 per person. Car parking charges are included.

  • Tuesday 10 June through until Tuesday 1 July 9:30am to 10:30am
  • Tuesday 8 July through until Tuesday 29 July 9:30am to 10:30am

Park Yoga

Park Yoga is a charity that provides free outdoor yoga sessions. Every Sunday morning throughout the summer from May to September for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Stand Up for Yoga

Wake up with the sun! Stand Up For Yoga provides guided yoga practices on Swanage beach on weekday mornings at 8am. Suitable for people new to yoga, as well as more experienced yogis.
