Cllr Matt Bell opened the public webinar, inviting feedback on community safety issues and priorities and the proposed three-year Dorset Community Safety Plan.
Andy Frost provided an overview of the Plan, highlighting that Dorset remains one of the safest areas in the Country. He summarised the proposed priorities, cross-cutting themes and delivery approach, which he advised had been informed by crime data, public consultation, service user feedback and engagement with young people.
Cllr Andy Todd asked about expanding the Pineapple Project beyond Weymouth. Sunita Khattra-Hall confirmed that rollout across other Dorset localities remains the ambition.
Molly Rennie, highlighted how Community Safety Partnership consultation findings help shape the work of the Dorset Domestic Abuse Forum and ensure victims' voices inform future priorities.
It was confirmed that further consultation and engagement work would continue over the course of the three year Plan.
No changes to the proposed Community Safety Plan were suggested during the webinar.
