Dorset Council in exercise of powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to remove two signal controlled pedestrian crossings and install 2 zebra crossings along North Quay, Weymouth. The western crossing is to be installed at the current location of the signal controlled pedestrian crossing. The eastern zebra crossing is to be installed opposite Chapelhay steps.
