Club Gaming Permit
A Club Gaming Permit allows prize gaming (poker, cribbage etc) and up to 3 gaming machines of category B3A, B4, C or D. You will need a Club Premises Certificate in order to apply for this permit.
Fees
A Club Gaming Permit will cost £200 and it lasts for as long as the Club Premises Certificate does.
Annual fee
There is an annual fee for both permits. The first one is due within a month of the grant and then again on each anniversary at a cost of £50. You will receive an invoice for these. If payment is not received by the time it is due the permit will lapse immediately.
Admin fees
If you need to make a change to a permit, it will cost £100.
If you would like an additional copy of the permit this will cost £15.
Club Gaming Machine Permit
A Club Gaming Machine Permit just allows for 3 machines of category B3A, B4, C or D gaming machines.
If your club has a Club Premises Certificate you can get a Club Gaming Machine Permit immediately. A Commercial Club will need to consult with the police and the Gambling Commission before it can receive a permit and so must wait at least 28 days.

If you have a Club Premises Certificate a permit will cost £100 and it lasts for as long as the Club Premises Certificate does.
If you do not have a Club Premises Certificate the cost for a permit is £200 and the permit lasts for 10 years.
