Alderholt Neighbourhood Plan Area
Referendum on the Alderholt Neighbourhood Plan
1. A referendum will be held on Thursday 28 November 2024 to decide on the question below:
“Do you want Dorset Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Alderholt to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
2. The hours of poll will be from 7am to 10pm.
3. The situation of the Polling Station and the description of persons entitled to vote there is as follows:

4. Absent votes
A person can apply to vote by ‘emergency’ proxy if they learn they cannot go to the polling station because of their occupation, service or employment, or a medical condition, illness or disability arises after 5pm on Wednesday 20 November 2024. The application MUST reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on the date of the poll.
All applications and notices regarding absent voting must be sent to The Counting Officer, Electoral Services, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, DT1 1XJ.
