New health cycle ride in Weymouth - trial
Dorset Council's Health and Activity Team will be running free hour long rides in Weymouth once a month.
If you feel you would like to try cycling again on a leisurely ride guided by a leader, then just come along, you don't have to book.
The rides start and finish at the Palm House Cafe, Weymouth at 10am to 11am, so there's always the option to have some social time afterwards too.
The ride will use the traffic free route of the Rodwell Trail.
The rides will be running on:
- Monday 13 November, 10am to 11am
- Wednesday 22 November, 10am to 11am
Bring a bike and rediscover the joy of pedalling. We look forward to seeing you there.
Volunteer health cycle leader opportunity
The health ride scheme is led by trained volunteers each week, giving lots of people the opportunity to get active outdoors. If you would like to become a volunteer health cycle leader or to find out about other active volunteering roles, please contact the Health and Activity Team.
We are looking for volunteer cycle leaders to set up a new ride in Weymouth. Please get in touch if you would be interested in supporting the team with this activity.
