Weymouth and Portland Dial-a-Bus

Door to door wheelchair accessible bus for transport for shopping.

Register to use this service. To join the scheme applications need to be signed by a GP or professional carer. Book by telephone between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday (answer machine at other times).

Who it's for

Elderly or mobility impaired who cannot use or have no access to public transport.

To join the Dial-a-Bus scheme, download the GP Referral Form and ask your GP or other professional carer to complete this.

Alternatively, contact us to have a copy of the form posted to you.

From £1.10 single up to £3.20 return (depending on journey) + £1 initial registration fee

Days of operation

Tuesday or Thursday into Weymouth town centre. The Dial-a-Bus will collect you from your home between 10.30am and 11.30am and take you to Weymouth town centre. The return journey will leave the town centre between 1.00pm and 2.00pm as required to take you home.
