Swanage Hopper Dial-a-Bus

Dial-a-Bus service

The Swanage Hopper Dial-a-Bus is a community door-to-door service which operates in the Swanage area on Tuesdays between the hours of 11am and 3pm.

The service offers return trips to Swanage town centre and Swanage market providing an essential shopping service. The Swanage Hopper Bus also transports people for lunch club outings.Download a copy of the Swanage Hopper leaflet.

The service is intended for people who cannot use or readily access public transport, or who have mobility problems. A wheelchair accessible bus is used.

Areas served include:

  • Swanage

  • Durlston

  • Ulwell

  • Harmans Cross

  • Langton Matravers

  • Worth Matravers

  • Kingston

Transport is offered to Swanage town centre, Swanage market and Swanage Hospital (visiting only). Lunch club destinations are to the local area surrounding Swanage.

Cost and charges

There is an initial passenger registration fee of £1 which is collected by the driver on the first trip. 

Return journeys to the town centre or the lunch club cost £3.20.
