We will be carrying out highway improvements outside the Pavilion on The Esplanade in Weymouth.
The work includes widening the footway and making other improvements to the highway.
Surveys identified that the steps outside the Pavilion extend into the footway and can be difficult to see. These improvements will make the area safer for pedestrians and improve accessibility.
Work will start on Wednesday 23 September and is expected to be completed by Friday 9 October.
Two-way temporary traffic signals will be in place throughout the works.
The signals will provide a safe working area for construction teams while allowing traffic to continue using The Esplanade.
There may be some noise and disruption while the work is taking place. We will keep this to a minimum wherever possible and complete the work as quickly as we can.
