Recycling (textile) banks
Our recycling banks accept textiles only. Damaged and worn items are accepted, but all items need to be dry and clean. The following items are accepted:
- clothes
- shoes
- bags
- towels
- blankets
- bedding sheets
- cushion covers
- curtains
Recycling (textile) banks do not accept duvets, pillows or cushions. These can be taken to your local Recycling Centre.
Recycling bank guidelines
Items that are no longer accepted, such as:
- glass
- paper
- card
- plastic bottles
- cans
- foil
- cartons
These will not be recycled if left on site or placed in the textiles bank. You can recycle these materials at your kerbside collection or at your local Recycling Centre.
