The plans submitted with an application need to meet the following criteria:
- be at a scale of 1:100 (unless agreed otherwise with the Licensing Authority)
- show the boundary of the building, and any internal walls and external walls if different and the perimeter of the premises
- show the location of doors into and out of the building
- show any other escape routes from the premises
- if the premises are to be used for more than one licensable activity, the area where each activity will take place
- show fixed structures (including furniture)
- show any objects temporarily in a fixed location (not furniture) such as pool tables or gaming machines which may impact on the ability of individuals to use exits or escape routes
- show stages or any raised areas, including the location and height relative to the floor
- show where there are any steps, stairs, elevators or lifts
- indicate where the toilets are
- clearly show the positioning of all fire safety or other safety equipment
- if there are any kitchen/s
