As part of the analysis of the proposals emerging in the Christchurch and East Dorset Core Strategy, a study has been undertaken of the impacts on transport around Wimborne Minster and Colehill.
The Transport Model provides details of the tests run to investigate what transport impacts the development proposals contained in the emerging Christchurch and East Dorset Core Strategy for Wimborne Minster and Colehill may have.

The impacts were analysed for the future years of 2012 and 2026. Work is currently underway to update this model as a result of changes to the road network at Wimborne Square and Canford Bottom, and changes to the proposed development figures as set out in the Core Strategy Proposed Changes to the Pre-Submission document.
The model was produced by the Dorset Engineering Consultancy based on surveys carried out in 2008.
