Dorset Council is contacting around 19,000 households across Purbeck and Upton to inform them of upcoming changes to waste and recycling collection days.
If your household is affected, you'll receive a letter in September with full details of your new collection arrangements. If you do not receive a letter, please assume your collection day remains unchanged.
The changes will take effect from Monday 28 September and are part of ongoing work to improve the efficiency and reliability of waste collection services as communities grow and collection routes need updating.

Residents do not need to do anything now other than look out for a letter arriving on their doorstep during September. The letter will explain any changes to collection days and provide all the information needed to prepare for the new arrangements.
Cllr Jack Jeanes, Dorset Council's Cabinet Member for Place Services, said:
"We know that changing collection days can take a little getting used to, which is why we're writing directly to residents affected by these changes.
"The most important thing for people to remember is that if your collection day is changing, you'll receive a letter with all the information you need. If you don't receive a letter, your collection arrangements will stay the same.
"These updates help us improve the efficiency and reliability of our waste collection service, making sure routes continue to work effectively as communities grow and change."
