Due to the IRONMAN 70.3 event on Sunday 20 September, Weymouth Household Recycling Centre will be closed all day and Dorchester Household Recycling Centre will be closed from 9am to 2pm. Please use alternative sites or visit another day.

Pride in Place is a government programme designed to give communities the tools and resources they need to shape their neighbourhoods and drive local change. Over the next 10 years, the programme will provide up to £2 million each year to Littlemoor and Broadwey.

Because residents understand their area best, the programme is led by local people through the new Neighbourhood Board. The board is responsible for working together with the community to develop a Pride in Place plan and making funding decisions that support long-term, positive change. The board is led by an independent chair, Kevin Hodder.

Let us know what improvements you would like to see in Littlemoor and Broadwey by completing our short survey.

The Neighbourhood Board will use the survey results to guide them when they are writing the first version of the Littlemoor and Broadwey Pride in Place plan. They will also take into account all the ideas that have already been put forward online and at community events. Although £20 million is a lot of money, they won’t be able to do everything, so they will use the feedback from the survey to help set priorities.

There will be a chance to comment on the draft plan in October before it is finalised.
