Read and listen to local and national newspapers online

Dorset library card holders can access digital newspapers online, as well as e-magazines and comics from rbDigital:

  • access the full text of 1000+ daily, weekly and monthly newspapers from over 100 countries (and in 60 languages), including 166 local, regional and national UK titles
  • newspapers can be streamed online via a tablet, smart phone (app available for iOS, Android & Kindle Fire) or web browser
  • titles available on the day of publication, including supplements and up to 3 months back issues for most titles 
  • use the search function to find articles
  • change the interface language
  • listen to the paper read out loud in your chosen language

NewsBank is a news database resource which provides archives of media publications as reference materials to libraries.

Access Newsbank

You can use Newsbank for free if you're a member of Dorset libraries. Enter your Dorset library card number prefaced by DORSET, for example, DORSET001234567A.
