Writing a strong supporting statement gives you the best chance of success. Your supporting statement should clearly show how you meet the essential criteria. This is your chance to stand out, so take your time and explain why you’re a good match for the role.
Each job advert has a job description and person specification. The job description explains the role and what it involves. The person specification shows the skills, knowledge, and experience we’re looking for, split into ‘essential’ and ‘desirable’ criteria. We use these criteria to decide who to invite to interview.
