"Why I work for Dorset"
I started working for Dorset out of convenience; I’ve stayed because working in Dorset allows me to make a difference without having to change who I am. I can use my skills and expertise to support others as well as taking opportunities for continual personal development. I’ve met some fantastic teams and individuals and I can work flexibly to ensure my work and home life are balanced. Working for the council is such a different experience, you can have such an impact, not just to your own team but across the whole organisation and to the people who live and visit Dorset.
