The Capacity Tracker is a cloud-based digital insight tool built by NECS in partnership with NHS England that enables care home, home care, in-patient community rehabilitation, substance misuse and hospice providers to easily and quickly share vacancy and other critical information in real time.
Statutory guidance: Formal notice of a mandate for all adult social care providers
From 31 July 2022 and until further notice, the Capacity Tracker (CT) must be completed each month. Information must be updated within a designated 7-day reporting window. This window will open at the start of the eighth day of each month and run until the end of the 14th day of each month, or the next working day where the 14th day falls on a weekend or public holiday.
Data collection reporting windows
The reporting windows for the coming months are:
- 8 January to 15 January 2024 (inclusive – both dates included)
- 8 February to 14 February 2024 (inclusive – both dates included)
- 8 March 2024 to 14 March 2024 (inclusive – both dates included)
A big thank you from Dorset Council to all our Care Home providers in achieving 100% compliance during the DHSC’s October, November and December 2023 submission windows and for your continued support.
