The Dorset Learning Disability Partnership Board:
- promotes your independence, choice, rights and inclusion
- makes sure you are treated as equal citizens, with access to mainstream services such as health, housing, employment and education
- asks other organisations to consult us when planning and making decisions that affect the lives of people with a learning disability
The membership of the Learning Disability Partnership Board is currently being reviewed to ensure there is full representation from Health and Social Care. This is so that the board has the accountability it deserves and has better links with other groups. An update will be provided over the coming months.
