Warning
From 1 April you will no longer be able to use a flexi permit in Portland Bill car park. This is because Dorset Council will no longer be responsible for this site.
Our parking permits have changed to virtual permits. Contact us if you are having difficulty accessing the virtual system.

The flexi stay car park permit gives unlimited parking in the majority of Dorset Council car parks. Find which car parks are included.

Non-Dorset Council residents who work in the Dorset Council area will need to prove that they work for a business within the area (eg headed letter from employer, which must include applicant's home and work address).

Apply for a flexi stay parking permit

Mipermit manage permits on our behalf. Permits are electronic so you do not need to display anything in your vehicle.

Using your permit

Once you have purchased a Flexi Stay car park permit, MiPermit has details of your registration number, so you do not need to do anything when you park in the included car parks. You also get two hours parking included in additional car parks, but when parking in these car parks you must book a session with MiPermit. See MiPermit on Youtube for further guidance.

Help applying for a permit

If you have any issues applying online, or registering with MiPermit please contact MiPermit on 0345 520 7007.
