From small, idyllic gatherings to spectacular, sumptuous affairs, every wedding we host is designed to make your day as special as you’ve always dreamed it would be. Pennsylvania Castle offers a luxurious backdrop, historic in build but with modern and elegant interior design, supported by a team that provides a genuinely personalised experience with unwavering attention to detail.
Pennsylvania Castle is a stunning clifftop mansion, built between 1797-1800 for John Penn, the last Governor of Portland and grandson of the founder of Pennsylvania, USA. Steeped in history, the impressive Grade II listed residence is set among four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens offering spectacular views of the Jurassic coastline. The gardens have been specifically designed to provide secluded, romantic retreats throughout the grounds for you to enjoy, as well as providing unique opportunities for your photographer. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering of close friends and family, or a more grandiose affair, they can accommodate a variety of indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The Castle is available to hire exclusively for your perfect wedding day.
