I have been working in legal services within local government for over 15 years and have been Head of Legal Services for the last 4 years. Working in-house for a council has been the most challenging, interesting, and rewarding work of my career.
Legal Services is involved in every aspect of council work from supporting and advising our officers and councillors to providing services to external customers including a Fire Service and our land charges customers.
I am proud to head a service of such dedicated and knowledgeable people, who work together, support each other, and encourage learning and development, to ensure we provide high quality legal advice for the council and benefit of those who live, work, and visit Dorset.
