The Weymouth main roads and Portland route is gritted as follows:
- from Weymouth Relief Road slip roads south to and around Jurassic Roundabout, to and around Veasta Roundabout (park and ride) and then to and around Manor Roundabout
- continue along A354, to and around Chafeys Roundabout, Weymouth Way, Westwey Road, along North Quay, right onto Trinity Road (Brewers Quay) and down to Cove Row
- return to North Quay to grit over junction into Newstead Road
- return to Harbour Junction to grit up Rodwell Road, Buxton Road, to and around Foords Corner Roundabout, along Portland Road, down Sunnyside Road to All Saints School
- return to Portland Road to grit to and around Ferrybridge Roundabout, Portland Beach Road, to and around Hamm Roundabout, to and around Osprey Quay Roundabout, up Coode Way, along Mereside, onto Hamm Beach Road back to Hamm Roundabout
- return to Osprey Quay Roundabout to grit Portland Beach Road to and around Victoria Square Roundabout, Lerret Road, along Castle Road to and around Castletown Roundabout to dock gate
- return to Victoria Square Roundabout to grit Victory Road and Castle Road to Lerret Road
- return to Victoria Square Roundabout to grit up Castle Road and Verne Common Road up to prison
- return to Castle Road and grit to and around Portland Heights Roundabout, along Easton Lane and Grove Road up to fire station
- return to Easton Street to grit Easton Square to St Georges School
- return to Easton Square to grit the Straits, Southwell Road and Portland Bill Road, down to Portland Bill
- return to grit Southwell Street, Sweethill Road, Sweethill Lane, Seven Acres, Bown Hill, Rip Croft, Reap Lane, Avalanche Road and back down to Sweethill Road slip road
- return to Sweethill Road and grit down to the end of West Way (to entrance of business park)
- grit Reap Lane Roundabout, along Avalanche Road, Weston Road, Reforne and Easton Street
- grit High Street and carry along Chiswell
- return to Foords Corner Roundabout and take Buxton Road to grit Cross Road, and Wyke Road to Rodwell Road
- at Harbour Junction, grit along Westwey Road, across Swannery Bridge and along Abbotsbury Road up to Newstead Road junction
- at Manor Roundabout grit road between Veasta Roundabout and Harriers’ Roundabout
