The Dorchester town and east gritting route is gritted as follows:
- along A37 to and around Weirs Roundabout, down Dorchester bypass to Monkeys Jump Roundabout into Poundbury, around Poundbury Roundabout and back to Monkeys Jump
- Poundbury fire station access road, along Middle Farm Way, to and around the next roundabout and onto Bridport Road, gritting both roundabouts
- return to Bridport Road to and around Top o’ Town Roundabout and down High West Street, High East Street, London Road, to and around Stinsford Roundabout and up to Kingston Maurward entrance
- return to Dorchester to grit Lubbecke Way to Ambulance station, Kings Road, Allington Road, Prince of Wales Road and Trinity Street
- return to Top o’ Town Roundabout to grit along Albert Road, Damers Road including up to A&E and Williams Avenue to Bridport Road
- return to Dorchester town to Great Western Road, Weymouth Avenue, into train station, to Stadium Roundabout
- Maiden Castle Road up to school, Clarence Road and Maud Road
- return to Damers Road to grit Windsor Road, Cambridge Road, Baynards Road and Coburg Road
- return to Weymouth Avenue to grit Maumbury Road, Rothesay Road and Barnes Way to school entrance
- proceed through school car parks to Mellstock Avenue and Rothesay Road
- from Mellstock Avenue and Rothesay junction, onto Herringston Road up to Winterbourne Hospital
- return to Allington Road, to and around Fordington Fields Roundabout, to and around Max Gate Roundabout, to and around next roundabout towards Broadmayne, to and around Warmwell Cross Roundabout and along A352 towards Wool, going around roundabout on the way until Wool Station
- to Police HQ main gate
- return leg of dual carriageway up to Warmwell Cross Roundabout, taking third exit to grit B3390 up to A35
- return to Dorchester to grit the Grove to Weirs Roundabout
