Please note that collections may be disrupted for a number of reasons during severe weather. Gritted roads do not guarantee bin collections if pavements are deemed to be too dangerous to move bins and boxes around. Sufficient numbers of staff may not be available to carry out collections if general travel is disrupted and there is an increased risk of vehicle issues as temperatures drop.
