Dorset Council (Footpaths 92 and 96, Beaminster at Windy Ridge) Public Path Extinguishment Order 2021

On 2 July 2021 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed.

The effect of the order as confirmed is will extinguish Footpaths 92 and 96, Beaminster at Windy Ridge as follows:

Footpath 92, Beaminster

The full width of the path from its junction with the current route of Footpath 69, north east of 14 Windy Ridge at ST 47830164, west north west through the garage and front garden of the property to ST 47820164, where it intersects with Footpath 96, Beaminster and Windy Ridge, then continuing west north west through the garden and property of 20 Windy Ridge and the garden of 18 Windy Ridge to ST 47770165.

The full width of the path from its junction with Footpath 92, to the south east of 16 Windy Ridge at ST 47820164, north north west through the garage and garden of the property to its junction with Footpath 70 at ST 47810168.

Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order - Highways Act 1980 & Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 69, Beaminster at Windy Ridge) Public Path Diversion Order 2021

On 2 July 2021 Dorset Council confirmed the above named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Footpath 69, Beaminster at Windy Ridge as shown on the order map as follows:

From the existing path: The full width of the path from its junction with Footpath 92, north east of 14 Windy Ridge at ST 47830164, generally south east across a green space area, towards woodland, to the unaffected part of Footpath 69 at ST 47920162.

To the new path: From the unaffected part of Footpath 69, at its junction with Footpath 70, at ST 47820165, generally south east along a crushed stone and grass surfaced path, towards woodland at ST 47900162 and then east to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 69 at ST 47920162. Width: The width of this part of Footpath 69 is 2 metres.

Dorset Council (Parts of Footpath 21, Lyme Regis) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021

On 23 July 2021 the Dorset Council confirmed (without modification) the above named order as unopposed.

The effect of the order as confirmed will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:

From the unaffected part of Footpath 21 on the north east boundary of 36 Talbot Road at SY 33949312, north east through 4 properties on Talbot Road to SY 33989315, then north passing through the garden of 31 Talbot Road and across the road to the south east boundary of 16 Talbot Road at SY 33989317. No recorded width.

  1. From the unaffected part of Footpath 21 north of 16 Talbot Road at SY 33979321, north north east, passing through the garden of 50 Woodberry Down Way to SY 33989331 and continuing north through a field to SY 33979339. No recorded width.

From its junction with Colway Lane, south of the property Penard at SY 33959300, north along a tarmac and crushed stone track to the southern boundary of 3 Colway Close at SY 33959306, continuing north east to its junction with the unaffected part of Footpath 21 at SY 33969307. The width varies: 2.5 metres between SY 33959300 and SY 33959306, narrowing to 2 metres at SY 33969307.

  1. From the unaffected part of Footpath 21, on the north eastern boundary of 36 Talbot Road at SY 33949312, north west along Colway Close and across the road to the south eastern boundary of 12 Talbot Road at SY 33929314. Continuing north east along the tarmac pavement to its junction with the unaffected part of Footpath 21 at SY 33989317. Width 2 metres.

  1. From the unaffected part of Footpath 21, north of 16 Talbot Road at SY 33979321, north along the western edge of a field to a field boundary at SY 33979330 and continuing north along the field edge to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 21 at SY 33979339. The width varies: between SY 33979321 and SY 33979330 2 metres then widens to an open field at SY 33979330.

The full width of the footpath from the unaffected part of Footpath 24 at SY 76138622 generally north north east across fields, then north west, passing between Lower Watercombe House and Lower Watercombe Barn to its junction with the current route of Footpath 23 at SY 76188651. Continuing west along a field to the unaffected part of Footpath 24, west north west of Lower Watercombe House at SY 76088651. (No recorded width).

Part of Footpath 23, Owermoigne: (Part of the Hardy Way)

From the unaffected part of Footpath 23 at SY 76368703, west into a field and continuing west north west along the field edge to SY 76338703, then generally south south west along the field boundary, running parallel with the Warmwell parish boundary to its junction with Footpath 24, west north west of Lower Watercombe House at SY 76088651. Width: The width of this part of Footpath 23 is 2 metres. Limitations: Pedestrian gates at SY 76368703 and SY 76088651 to BS5709:2018.

Part of Footpath 24, Owermoigne: (Part of the Hardy Way)

From the unaffected part of Footpath 24 at SY 76138622, north west across a field to SY 75998632, then generally north north east along the field boundary, running parallel with the Warmwell parish boundary to its junction with Footpath 23, west north west of Lower Watercombe House at SY 76088651. Width: The width of this part of Footpath 24 is 2 metres.

Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order - Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 and Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Section 53A (2)

Dorset Council (Parts of Footpaths 8 and 9 Wimborne Minster) Public Path Diversion and Stopping-up Order 2 2019

On 15 July 2021 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above order with modifications. The effect of the order as confirmed is to:

Divert that length and the whole width of public footpath No. 8, Wimborne Minster, running from point A (SZ 00534 99960) at Old Road, in a north-north- westerly turning west-north-westerly direction for 121 metres to point B (SU 00443 00029), then continuing in a west-north-westerly direction for 194 metres to point C (SU 00259 00079).

Stop-up that length and the whole width of public footpath No. 9, Wimborne Minster, running from point D (SU 00467 00046), in a south westerly direction for 29 metres to point B (SU 00443 00029).

Footpath 8, Wimborne Minster, will be diverted to a new line as follows:

A length of public footpath at a width of 2 metres running from point A, (SZ 00534 99960), at Old Road, in a west-south-westerly direction for 37 metres to point E, (SZ 00500 99947), then continuing in a west-south-westerly direction for 13 metres to point F, (SZ 00488 99943),then continuing in a west-south-westerly turning west north westerly direction for 67 metres to point G, (SZ 00422 99950), then continuing in a north-westerly direction for 23 metres to point H, (SZ 00403 99959), then continuing in a north-westerly direction for 7 metres to point J, (SZ 00396 99962), then continuing in a northerly then north westerly direction for 93 metres to point K, (SU 00358 00043), then continuing in a west-north-westerly direction for 61 metres to point L, (SU 00301 00065), then continuing in a west- north-westerly direction for 45 metres to point C, (SU 00259 00079), as shown on the order map.
